DDR Corp. announced the installation of a 3rd Tesla Supercharger station located at Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, NJ. This is the 3rd state where the Supercharger station has been activated at a DDR shopping centre, after Virginia and Ohio. Growth could expand to more locations across the country by year-end.
Last weekend, specialty manufacturer of high performance vehicles, technical performance parts, Saleen Automotive, Inc. (OTCQB: SLNN) released its Saleen Tesla Model S renderings. Saleen Automotive expects the first Saleen Tesla Model S to be completed during the summer of 2014.
Tesla Model S touted as the ‘world’s safest electric car’ and the recipient of a five star award from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reportedly caught fire, allaying all claims of its total safety. The fire started in the car’s electric battery after the driver hit a large piece of metal debris. The fire was so severe, that it destroyed the complete car even as firefighters tried their level best to douse the flames.
Last week, Tesla Motors announced their new ‘World’s Best Service and Warranty Program’, and along with it, they also hinted at a future battery which will offer a 500-mile range.
