Students enrolled in the 3 year Dual Apprenticeship course at Volkswagen Academy India have built a firefighting car for the Volkswagen Pune Plant Safety Department as their final year project. Apprentices involved had a hands-on experience with various activities that go into building a car. The Pilot Hall team at Volkswagen Pune Plant responsible for experimental projects, mentored the apprentices.
The past 30 months has seen Volkswagen India increase export volumes,with the 50,000th export, a left-hand drive Vento to be shipped to Mexico being celebrated at the Pune plant this week.
