Yamaha Motor India has unveiled its range of helmets for women and kids. The development is in sync with changes and enforcement of new traffic rules as laws have moved towards making it mandatory for women pillion riders in Delhi to wear helmets.
Yamaha Motor India’s initiative Yamaha Children Safety Program (YCSP) held a session in New Delhi Public School, Vikas Puri today. Yamahaâ€™s brand Mascot â€˜Zippyâ€™ was present alongwith 200+ students between 5-12 years of age who attended. YCSP makes students aware about safety rules on roads, safety measures and tips for road safety imparted through theory and practical examples.

Ltd. has registered a growth of 32.5% in domestic sales during February 2014 as compared to the corresponding period last year. Continuing on its quest to witness high sales growth, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. has registered a growth of 17.4% in overall sales during January 2014 as compared to the corresponding period last year.
Domestic market, sales grew by 32.6%, with 461,814 units sold in 2013 against 348,346 units sold in 2012. 2013 export stood at 189,673 units as against 138,464 units exported in 2012, equating to 37% growth. Yamaha Motor India 2013 sales fillip with the launch of Ray and Ray Z proves a point or two.
