Tata Falcon 4 hatchback to be called Bolt?
Tata Falcon hatchback, set to go on display at 2014 Auto Expo has got a new name. Christened ‘Bolt’, the upcoming hatchback will share parts and platform with Vista while it goes up against the likes of Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10.
The new Tata Bolt will be formally unveiled in New Delhi on February 3, 2014, while it will also be displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. Alongside the Bolt, there will be another new car, a sub-four meter sedan, currently called Falcon 5.
Tata Motors’ Bolt receives distinctive styling from Vista with new grille, headlamp and fog lamp designs. Body panels and other car mechanics also vary from the Vista with new suspension design to augment both ride and handling while Electric Power Steering is also added and provided by German parts majors ZF.
Tata Motors has not made any announcements where prices of both Bolt and Falcon 5 are concerned which should be revealed when the two models go on sale sometime this year. (source)
