Tata is the largest auto manufacturer in UK

Tata Motor’s are not just a name to reckon with in India, but are the largest manufacturers in UK employing over 40,000 employees in the country.  Setting off initially with buying of Tetley Tea, and Brunner Mond, it was the deal for Corus that everyone was talking about. The icing on the cake has been Jaguar Land Rover, and Tata Motors has gone ahead and become the number one manufacturer in the United Kingdom.

Other foreign companies Huawei of China,  Rosneft of Russia and Embraer of Brazil have gone on to become some big name in the industry. More established companies in the UK are not able to compete with this newer crop of enthusiastic and young multinationals.  Top multinational companies have not only capital, but also expertise and knowhow to withstand market conditions and emerge winners. What was failing Ford in 2008 has made the biggest comeback under the leadership of Tata Motors, with JLT posting healthy sales figures, and bringing in exciting vehicles like the range Rover Evoque.

Britain has always been considered business friendly and open to collaborations and new business takeovers.  This has resulted in a number of companies from across the world are taking note of their business ethics and attitude of their citizens and branching off into joint ventures and takeovers.
