This is probably too early, but reports have become rife about Tata Motors partnering with Chery Automobiles in China for manufacturing and distributing Jaguar and Land Rover cars in China. Mr. Christopher Brown, Executive VP of Jaguar and Land Rover car (China) was quoted in an interview with Daily Economic News saying, "Jaguar Land Rover Sales Corporation in China is the platform for its future business development in China."
Reports from the same source as above suggest Tata Motors are on the lookout for a partner in China that will help them increase their market share in China. When tried to contact Chery Automobiles, a spokesperson replied saying it was too early to say anything about this.
