Tata Motors’ ’Commercial Vehicles has today launched its new Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle (ILCV) truck range named ‘ULTRA’. Tata Ultra ILCV banks on superior technology and design. Lowest total cost of ownership is attained through improved uptime delivered by driver comfort, superior aggregates and customised requirements.

Tata’s Ultra commercial vehicles range serves the need of new gen trucks and buses. Starbus based on the ULTRA platform was launched in 2011 and offers passenger and driver comfort, improved NVH, and fuel efficiency to result in lowest total cost of ownership. Ultra trucks have beeen built on a customer centric approach with key product development process inputs based on learnings from Starbus ULTRA buses. Tata ULTRA trucks have a payload capacity between 5 and 15 tonnes.
