Tata Motors Zest and Bolt new design, interiors and features
Tata Motors Zest and Bolt have been designed on DesigNext, DriveNext and ConnectNext principals and have been revealed prior to opening of 2014 Auto Expo.
This new DNA showcased by Tata Motors has been brought to the fore in the classy Zest sedan and Bolt premium hatchback. DesigNext showcases a new Tata grille with a Humanity Line, a new front and dynamic silhouette besides premium interiors and new exterior colors. A comprehensive look at this morning’s Tata Motors’ Falcon car unveil, Zest and Bolt.
Tata Motors Zest (Falcon 5) and Bolt (Falcon 4) were unveiled in today, and a launch is scheduled for mid 2014. DriveNext draws attention to F-Tronic Automated Manual Transmission technology offering feather light, finger shift and clutch free driving on board the new Zest. Advanced ABS with improved braking and better cornering facilities are also available under this new design language along with best in class Revotron MPFi turbocharged 1.2 T petrol engine.
ConnectNext with new HARMAN Infotainment System, MapmyIndia navigation and location services, 5” touchscreen for music and videos and integrated HVAC with enhanced HMI are also seen along with advanced Bluetooth, voice recognition, text to speech and phone enabled navigation.
The new Tata Motors Zest and Bolt will be seen featuring Electronic Power Assisted System with Active Return Function and speed sensitive power steering. Cabins are also more silent offering a more pleasurable driving experience, while Dual path suspension offers better rideability especially under Indian driving conditions prevalent in the country.
Both Zest and Bolt are the result of design inputs received from Tata Motors’ design studios based in Pune, India; Coventry, UK and Turin, Italy and are introduced with segment first features both where external and internal makeup of these cars are concerned.
