Tata Motors Zest (Falcon 5) and Bolt (Falcon 4) India unveil, launch in mid 2014
Tata Motors Horizonext event has started at Imperial Hotel, Delhi, where the new Zest compact sedan has been unveiled. Bolt hatchback is also slated to follow, while later in the day.
Tata Motors Zest and Bolt are based on an enhanced Tata X1 platform, and each of these will help Tata Motors to expand their product portfolio which of late has been taking a stagnant approach.

Tata Bolt – codenamed Falcon 4 till date is also unveiled and is seen as a heavily redesigned version of Tata Motors’ Vista. It receives new body panels and a restyled nose with strong character lines along with long vertically stacked tail lights. Interiors sport a new dashboard and well defined seats giving the cabin a plush appearance. Mechanics will include Electric Power Steering from ZF which is lighter than that seen on board the Vista while it will be powered by a new 84 bhp Revoltron 1.2 liter turbo petrol and a 1.3 liter multijet diesel engine.
DesignNext, DriveNext and ConnectNext new design dynamics has also been revealed with ConnectNext displaying a new level of driving and ownership experience with elevated entertainment, ergonomics, acoustic and climate benefits being offered to customers.
