Tata Nano GenX with white racing stripes and sunroof, hints at accessories on offer

Keeping in mind the target audience, Tata Motors is officially offering their Nano GenX with a numerous accessories. This includes first in class accessories like coloured alloys, coloured ORVMs, sunroof, sporty interiors, colour combinations for interiors, decals for exteriors, and much more. Below is one such example, which was on display at the launch of Tata Nano GenX in Mumbai yesterday.

The specially accessorized car in the image above (and in the gallery below) is just an example, with which Tata Motors is highlighting the versatile styling options on offer with new Nano GenX. Tata Motor claims that apart from the 624 cc two cylinder engine, all major components on board the new Nano have been either updated, or completely replaced with new one’s. The 2015 Nano GenX is the most advanced, safest and feature-rich Nano ever made.

Talking about new Nano’s safety features, it comes with impact cushioning crumple zone, reinforced body structure, anti-roll bar, and robust side doors. For comfort, it has electric power steering, 110 litre boot space, best in class air condition, power windows (only front), keyless remote locking key, best in class legroom and headroom. This is also the first Nano which comes with 4 speakers attached to AmphiStream music system giving a surround sound effect.

Talking about the accessorized Nano GenX, it features some smart application of decals and racing stripes. The white racing stripe running on the front, top and rear, gives it a sporty look, while the smartly designed alloy wheel add to its charisma of a cool city car.

But, the USP of the new Nano is its new gearbox option, AMT. Yes, Tata Nano GenX comes with automated manual transmission, price of which starts from Rs 2.69 lakhs, ex-Delhi. Powered by the same engine, it delivers top speed of 105 kmph, and two three drive modes – Auto, Manual and Sport. Below are more details about the new Nano.
