Tata Nano in Bollywood as promotion partner for “Student of the Year” movie

Following Tata Motors’ alliance with Bollywood blockbuster “Student of the Year”, the company has also launched ‘Nano Student of the Year’ which is open to all adventurous and fun loving college students. The movie is a romantic comedy directed by Karan Johar of which Tata Nano is the on ground promotion partner.

Tata Motors will be awarding Rs.3 lakh scholarship to Nano Student of the Year while first runner up will receive a Tata Nano and second runner up will be presented with a Macbook Pro. To qualify for this contest, students have to be above the age of 18 and need to register at the website www.nanostudentoftheyear.com before the 28th September 2012. Students will be judged on the basis of academics, sports, culture and social life. The first round will see 8 finalists which will be declared on the website on 2nd October 2012 following which there will be another round of competitions which will entail 6 tasks after which the final three will be selected.

Viewers and Tata Nano fans will be able to cast their votes for their favorite candidates while the cast from the Bollywood blockbuster “Student of the Year” – Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt will be judges. Students who think they are sporty, academically brilliant, socially aware and talented can long on to the website and register. Chances of winning increase in proportion to marks allotted by judges and votes coming in from friends and fans.
