Tata Nano no more the world’s cheapest car

Tata Nano got launched last year and received created quite a hype and garnered applause as being termed the world’s cheapest car. Recently, Tata Motors have confirmed that the price of this Rs. 1-lakh car model will undergo a 3-4 percent hike.

Technology upgradation according to BS-IV emission standards and input costs can be considered as the cause of this price rise. Authorities have also ascertained that the first 1-lakh customers who have booked this car will be paying as per previous year pricing standards. Customers who have retained their bookings will be notified of all the terms and conditions at time of delivery.

As a sign of gratitude, Tata Motors will provide customers some extended benefits such as one-year annual maintenance contract, extended warranty or free accessories up to Rs. 4000 in value.
