Tata to eye servicing

Tata motors are starting a comprehensive customer service initiative, and it’s being called the Tata Motors Service Edge. The service network is quite wide with 800 odd service centres across India spread among various cities and small towns.

Rajiv Dubey, the Tata motors Passenger section president revealed that the company, which was not well known for its great customer service has grown a lot, to a stage where it has sold more than 1.7 million cars and is set for the company to start a complete service solution for its cars, and this the reason that it has started Service Edge.

Tata has found the right time to launch such an initiative as it has sold 2, 30,000 vehicles between the month April 2009 and February 2010. The service package with Service Edge includes round the clock on road assistance by calling a toll free help line number 1800 209 7979. There are many other exciting features in this package to attract customers.
