During this edition of the competition, Tesla’s Model S faced tough competition from likes of Porsche 911, Subaru BRZ, BMW M5 and Cadillac ATS. Results were based on performance of these vehicles when subjected to four days of track testing which included evaluation of factors like design, technology, performance and range.
The Model S is a premium sedan built to elevate customer’s opinions of what to expect from an electric sedan. Superb weight distribution and low centre of gravity have allowed this car to be responsive and agile when driven on road. Driving range options include a 40 kWh, 60 kWh and 85 kWh battery variants. One can expect a mileage of 265 miles when using the 85 kWh variant. More cargo space and innovative interior features make this sedan out amongst others in its class.
