Toyota FCV-R hydrogen fuel-cell concept model production will commence by 2015. Toyotahas announced to take the fuel cell technology to the next level and in order to do so, they will be launching - FCV-R: Fuel Cell Vehicle – Reality and Revolution Event at Tokyo Motor Show.
FCV-R sedan hydrogen powered vehicle does not produce CO2 emissions and it does utilize fossil fuels. The sedan has ample passenger space and a large enough boot to ensure a comfortable long distance travel. The car uses 70 MP high pressure hydrogen tank and offers 435 miles under test conditions.
With a total length of 5.87 feet and height of 4.95 feet with 8.86 feet wheelbase, Toyota FCV-R sedan is comfortable for a family of four with adequate luggage space. The fuel cell unit is comfortably situated below a specially designed body adding to the usable space in the vehicle. More details of the FCV-R will be available once it is introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show.
