Toyota Innova facelift India launch nears: Spied at dealership
Toyota Innova facelift was recently launched in Indonesia. The facelift is now ready for India launch, as the vehicle was recently spotted at a Toyota India dealership. Dubbed ‘Z’, the topend variant of Innova could come in at a price tag of around INR 17.5 lakhs which will make this Innova variant more expensive than the other earlier models.
As you can see in the images here (credit: Fly-Wheel) Innova Z variant will receive a larger chrome grille and well defined bumper, while chrome embellishments are seen around its fog lamps. New body graphics on doors make the Z variant stand apart while at the rear, tail lamps and bumpers designs remain untouched.
Interiors are fitted with a new infotainment package which includes an LCD touchscreen and multimedia readability from iPod, a USB stick, CD and AUX system. Where engine updates are concerned, Toyota has decided to retain the old 2.5 liter D4D diesel engine offering 102 PS power and 200 Nm torque. This will be the third update ever since the Toyota Innova was launched in 2005. The first update came in 2009 while the current version was launched in 2011.
