As Toyota gets ready to launch their new Toyota Spade mini van, they have released a campaign which is seen nearly as similar to that which Chevrolet had released last year to bring their Sonic into the limelight. The Spade campaign sees a bevy of skydivers emerging from the model which is strapped to a helicopter that soars through the skies. As the skydivers jump out the vehicle is seen gracefully adrift while a parachute opens and brings it safely back to the ground.

Toyota has announced that Spade will be only on sale in Japan while the tag monthly sales at 4,000 units. Besides the Spade, Toyota has also released Porte. Though named differently, both Porte and Spade are actually very similar and will be on sale through different Toyota dealers in Japan.

Porte will be on sale through Toyota and Toyopet dealers while Spade is available at through Toyota Corolla and Netz dealers. Both these mini vans will be powered by 1.3 liter and 1.5 liter engines mated to Toyota Super CVT-I. A striking feature will be their large passenger side remote controlled sliding doors which can be opened and closed using wireless key or at the touch of a button situated near driver or rear seats.
