Triumph Motorcycles India latest two wheeler market entrant

10 Triumph Motorcycles have been launched in India last week. They are Bonneville and Bonneville T100, Speed Triple and Street Triple, Daytona 675R supersports, Thruxton café racer, Tiger 800XC and Tiger Explorer adventure bikes, Thunderbird Storm and the 2,300cc Rocket III Roadster.

Triumph_India (10)India is now one of 11 Triumph subsidiary offices globally. Sales estimates are between 400-500 units in the first 6 months, and the order book will open by the 2nd week of December with 2 year unlimited mileage warranty offered to buyers.

Triumph looks at selling over 50,000 bikes globally by 2013 year end. By the end of 2013, Triumph Motorcycles India plans to open at least 4 showrooms here.

In the next phase, 5 more dealerships will be inaugurated. The first 4 dealerships are at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Their bike range price begins at Rs 5.7 lakhs for Bonneville and goes upto Rs 20 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for Rocket III Roadster.
