V12 coffee machine inspired by Formula 1 engine

There are coffee making machines and there is Espresso Veloce Serie Titanio V12 Coffee Machine. Priced £9000 (US$ 15000 USD, INR 9,22,923) a piece, this F1 inspired coffee-maker is limited to just 500 pieces.

While this price for a V12 inspired coffee machine may seem over exaggerated, it may be noted that there will be only 500 pieces produced and will be assembled from over 90 precision components each made from sold billets. Manufactured from materials such as titanium, stainless steel and aluminum, each of these parts have to conform in tolerance within a tenth of a millimeter.

The Espresso Veloce Serie Titanio coffee machine, besides coming in a V12 design, is also offered in V8 and V10 Serie Carbonio Nero black carbon-fiber formats versions. Aviation spec titanium exhaust pipes need to stay 18 hours in zirconium ball polisher so as to receive its mirror finish while tips have to be blued with heat so as to resemble discolorations as seen on racing exhausts.

Besides resembling a V12 engine externally, the coffee dispenser also has a real engine in its interiors, due to which coffee is dispensed by a high pressure pump and heat exchanger. Boiling hot water is poured into engine oil filler caps and coffee is poured into piston shaped stainless steel cups. (source)
