Taking their passion ahead is a list of Delhiites whose passion for luxury vehicles is often untold. The oldest bike on exhibit si one that dates back to 1904 (German NSU with a 350 cc engine) , and automobiles that wear a 90 year old stamp. The Heritage Motoring Club of India (HMCI) is the driving force behind this passionate display and can take pride in the fact that thereâ€™s is the only non commercial corner with all vested interest dwelling on passion.
Amongst the vintages on display were the
- regal 1934 Rolls Royce in silver
- convertible red Impala
- 1920 Fiat
- 19th century horse carriage
- blue & white BMW Isetta 300 ( 2-seater bubble car known for its shape in the 1950s. The one at the exhibition was a 1955 vintage & beat the Nano in size. Specifics: 2.29m in length and 1.37m in width, 298-cc rear engine, a moveable panel, and entry and exit upfront.
