Volkswagen promises its new Jetta Hybrid offers 45 mpg thus making it one of the world’s most efficient vehicles currently in the market. The new Jetta Hybrid will be powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged and direct injection TSI engine mated to a zero emission electric motor Jetta Hybrid offers combined output of 170 hp and 184 lb/ft torque. With fuel economy at 45mpg this makes the compact hybrid consume nearly 20% less fuel as compared to the same powered car with conventional drive system.
This new fuel efficient vehicle is latest addition to Jetta family. It starts with a base price of $24,995 while the SE model will be available from $26,990. The Hybrid trim comes with front and rear disc brakes, daytime running lights, power and heated exterior mirrors, 15” alloy aluminum wheels and all season tyres. Distinctive hybrid badging is seen in the front, sides and rear. Hybrid interiors include manually adjustable front seats, Climatronic automatic climate control, leather wrapped and telescopic steering wheel, airbags, temperature display and 60/40 folding rear seats.
Jetta Hybrid SE, SEL and SEL Premium are priced at $26,990, $29,325 and $31,180 respectively with all prices exclusive of destination charges at $795 per vehicle.
