Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible in Germany with starting price €21,350

Volkswagen’s New Beetle Convertible prices have been announced and the company has commenced acceptance of orders for their latest open top version. Pricing starts at US$27,100 or €21,350 for the base model which is fitted with a 1.2 liter TSI petrol engine producing 104 hp and climbing all the way up to US$35,500 or €27,950 for the model fitted with a 2.0 TDI diesel dual clutch DSG transmission engine capable of 138 hp.

The new Beetle Convertible is also available with a 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine with 158 hp and a 1.6 liter TDI engine with possibility of expansion of range to include a 2.0 TSI engine with 197 hp coming in later. All engines are mated to dual clutch transmission.

Though the New Beetle Convertible comes with a host of internal and external updates customers desirous of enhancing the Beetle Convertible with three decade specific styling packages can choose from the 50s, 60s and 70s packages being offered which also includes an R Line package priced at €1,305.
