Volkswagen has shown concern for the environment by adding two new engine derivatives to their Beetle line-up. This not only contributes to greater savings to the tune of £1,400 but at the same time plays a major role in reduction of auto emissions. These two engines are available at Volkswagen Retailers with deliveries geared up for early 2013.
The first includes a 1.2 liter TSI 105 PS with six speed manual gearbox while the other is a 1.6 liter TDI 105 PS with BlueMotion Technology mated to a five speed manual or seven speed DSG transmission. These two engine options are available in entry level Beetle or Design trims. The former will be priced at £15,195 while the latter is priced at £17,030.
Volkswagen Beetle was launched in the UK earlier this year with only one engine and trim level. Since then three trim levels have been added which include Beetle, Design and Sport while Turbo Black and Turbo Silver form the top end models. Customers are also given a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines.
