The concept car at Frankfurt features a high performance gasoline engine mated with an electric motor on its rear axle. This gives the Concept Coupe an output of 400 hp and 440 lb/ft torque. Volvo’s four cylinder engines offer enhanced performance as compared to today’s six cylinder units and lower fuel consumption as compared to current four cylinder engines. Volvo Cars also introduced a new infotainment system and safety features in the 60-series.
