The Swedish automaker has infused a certain amount of freshness into the new S80 which will be based on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture and will sport Volvo’s Drive-e four cylinder engine.
Dynamic in styling, the facelifted Volvo S80 could come into India via the CBU route. Seen at the Geneva Motor Show last year, the upcoming model was noted to have new front and rear bumpers giving the car a stretch out appeal and longer and wider stance. New rectangular Daytime Running Lights, wider grille, Active High Beam Control, rounded tail lamps, heated windscreen and steering wheel and chrome exterior highlights give the S80 facelift a premium appeal.
Volvo S80 also receives Sensus Connected Touch infotainment system with a 7” display, access to Google Maps, Internet and stream internet radio. Interiors are seen in leather seats sourced from Bridge of Weir in Scotland. As far as under the hood information is concerned, Volvo S80 facelift retains the same engines.
