Volvo unleashed its new S60, which will hit Indian roads by January 2011. The car comes with a very sporty look unlike the conventional Volvo cars. The new Volvo S60 has a bulky waistline along with large headlamps, which is very new in Volvo cars.
This vehicle has a swell grill and wheels along with a coupe-like roofline. The interiors looks very spacious like the normal Volvo with a well- laid out dashboard and a floating central console. The Volvo's new baby comes immensely power full engine configurations, which makes it an excellent competitor for BMW's 335i.
There are 2 liter turbocharged petrol engine giving 200bhp, 3.0-litre petrol that gives a whooping 304 bhp. It also comes in twin turbo diesel 2.4 liter D5 giving 204 bhp and also 2.0 liter 4 cylinder diesel with 163 bhp with more options coming later in the year. There are features like pedestrian detection system, which automatically stops the car completely from speeds up to 35kph.
