Till date, Volvo has done a pretty good job of keeping the upcoming V40 details under wraps. However it was yesterday that some teaser pictures were revealed in a magazine. From the images here, one can imagine what to expect from the new 2013 model of Volvo V40. Volvo V40 is expected to be available across Europe this summer for a price of € 26,000. Pricing is similar to what a BMW 1 Series or Audi A3 would cost and the Volvo V40 is looked upon as Sweden's answer to Audi A3, VW Golf and BMW 1 series.
French car magazine L'Automobile too has disclosed two undisguised images of what they project as the new V40. The pictures though a bit blurred, show the front end of the compact car while the rear view is clearer. Volvo has stated that V40 will be the first production of the company that will take advantage of its new modular Volvo Environmental Architecture four cylinder engine offering direct injection for gas and common rail for diesel variants.
Earlier in the day, next gen Audi A3 images to surfaced. Click here to see new Audi A3.
