Hero MotoCorp has revealed the first TVC of their all-new 250 cc sports bike, HX250R. Powered by a 250 cc engine, Hero HX250R will deliver 31 PS power and 26 Nm torque via six speed manual transmission. Designed in association with Hero’s US based Erik Buell Racing, HX250R will be launched later this year.
At 2085 mm long, 1145 mm tall Hero HX250R has a ground clearance of 145 mm and a wheelbase of 1370 mm. Future ready, the new Hero not only delivers segment best power output, but also has state of the art LED headlights and taillights.
Tyres are in the form of 110/80 R18 front and 140/70 R17 rear. Brakes for front is taken care by three piston caliper 300mm disc while rear features 200 mm disc. You also have the benefit of ABS in the new HX250R. Considering the heavy localization Hero manages, expect the HX250R to be priced aggressively, to compete with the likes of Honda CBR250R and Bajaj Pulsar 200. Price could be around Rs 1.4 lakh mark.
