The new Datsun Go has caused much excitement and has already endeared itself to buyers in India. The company has reported resounding sales of 2072 units in just 10 days of launch. Nissan has introduced a new commercial to draw attention its luxurious interiors and exteriors while the new Go is seen to cause much excitement in adults and children alike.
Launched in Delhi at a price range from INR 3.12 lakhs to INR 3.70 lakhs, the new Datsun Go competes with a wide range of entry level cars, Maruti Alto, Ford Figo, Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai Santro and i10. It is powered by a 1.2 liter three cylinder petrol engine offering 68 bhp power and 110 Nm torque.
Fuel efficiency is at 20.6 kmpl while the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 13.3 seconds. Datsun Go measures 3785mm in length, 1635mm in width, 1485mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2450mm.
