What to expect from Tata Motors at Delhi Auto Expo 2014
Tata Motors isn’t leaving customer engagement initiatives for Auto Expo 2014. RFID enabled CONNEXION Bands from Tata Motors will be made available for auto-enthusiasts available from its Auto-Expo exclusive microsite, connect.tatamotors.com, which will be live until February 12, 2014.
At Delhi Auto Expo 2014, Tata Motors will present an extensive range of vehicles and concepts. Tata’s microsite will update info of all Tata activity to keep customers and visitors in the know-how about launch information, and you could get a #SneakPeek of the Tata Motors stall. One can participate in weekly contests to win Auto Expo passes, and other exciting prizes.
With a Tata Motors CONNEXION Band, visitors can swipe & Check-in at the Stall, participate in contests hosted on activity pods, collect points on participation, check points update through the master leader-board, keep track of points and increase overall score, win exciting prizes, get clicked with their favourite Tata Motors vehicle and share updates online, as well as download information, images on the exciting line-up from product pods
To avail a CONNEXION band, visitors can regester on Tata’s microsite, or visit the Tata Motors Pavillion. On registering online, a RFID code will be issued, and customers can collect their band at the pavillion. Flashing a CONNEXION Band at an activity pod, activates them for access. The Indian automaker is focused on environment-friendly tech in emissions and alternative fuels, and will present alternate fuel tech.
Tata Motors has in fact been busy these past 2 weeks. This month they first launched Nano Twist XT, which replaces top of the line LX version of the Nano range at a price of Rs. 2.36 Lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, and Rs. 2.48 Lakh, ex-showroom Bangalore.
This week saw Tata Motors launch ‘REVOTRON’, an All New Family of Next Generation Petrol Engines. This includes the Turbocharged Multi-Point Fuel Injected (MPFi) Engine delivering 85 PS @ 5000 RPM and 140 NM @ 1750-3500 RPM, REVOTRON 1.2T.
Tata Motors also did launch Vista VX Tech in the premium hatchback segment this week. The Vista range begins at a price tag of Rs.5.01 Lakhs for Vista LS, and goes upto Rs.6.19 Lakhs for the Vista VX Tech, ex-showroom Mumbai, and Rs. 4.97 Lakhs for Vista LS, and goes upto Rs.6.12 Lakhs for the Vista VX Tech, ex-showroom Bangalore.
Today the Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Team has a press meet to announce India’s first T1 – Prima Truck Racing Championship. Of course there’s planned from them. No wonder Karl Slym on Twitter this morning said, “Our #Horizonext journey can’t get any more thrilling than this…..Stay tuned!”
At present their dedicated youtube channel, TataMotorsAutoExpo has been uploading videos of ‘Catch the cool 360 degree jumps from the Tata Motors Connexion Wheel at Ambience Mall.’
