Force Motors announced their entry into the passenger vehicle segment in the Indian auto industry when they launched their all new SUV named Force One. With Mr Amitabh Bachchan as their brand ambassador, Force One was launched with a price tag of Rs 10.65 lacs.

Force One SUV is powered by a turbocharged 2.2L FMTECH CRDi engine which delivers a maximum power of 141 PS @ 3800 rpm and 321 Nm torque @ 1600-2400 rpm. Force One has a topspeed of 160 kmph.

Why would you buy Force One

The engine of Force One is very reliable as it has been manufactured under license from Daimler AG Germany. Handling of Force One has been fine tuned by Lotus Engineering, UK. Has a decent exterior design while on the inside you will find all the latest gadgetry equipments. The headroom and legroom is decent while there is ample space for luggage even when all the seats are up.

Why would you not buy Force One

Price looks a little too high. No airbags or ABS. No rear disc brakes. Looks like a cheap variant of Land Rover. Other major concern buyers might get is that Force Motors has just 22 dealers across India as of now. Though they plan on increasing their number of dealerships, Force One has still got a long way to go in order to compete with a Safari, Scorpio or XUV5OO for that matter.
