The plant which operates at two shifts has a production capacity of 85000 units yearly. Furthermore, the passenger cars from SAIC would be sold under the brand "Chevrolet" while the commercial vehicles are yet to be decided upon.
Indications do suggest that the possible brand name for its Wuling range may come under "Tavera" while that of LCV's is still undecided.
