Yamaha Motor India 2013 sales growth 32.6%

Domestic market, sales grew by 32.6%, with 461,814 units sold in 2013 against 348,346 units sold in 2012. 2013 export stood at 189,673 units as against 138,464 units exported in 2012, equating to 37% growth. Yamaha Motor India 2013 sales fillip with the launch of Ray and Ray Z proves a point or two.

Yamaha sold 39,777 units in the domestic market through Dec 2013 as against 25,123 units sold in December 2012 equating to 58% sales growth. Exports stood at 25,220 units in December 2013 compared to 22,360 units sold in Dec 2012 equating to 13% sales growth. Overall December 2013 sales stood at 64,997 units as against 47,483 units sold in December 2012 equating to 37% overall growth.
