Powering the new Yamaha YZF-R25 is an 4 valve DOHC fuel injected 249cc parallel twin engine offering 36 PS peak power at 12,000 rpm and 22.1 Nm peak torque at 10,000 rpm while being mated to a 6 speed gearbox.
Built around a tubular Diamond frame, Yamaha YZF-R25 measures 2,090 mm in length, 720 mm in width and stands 1,135 mm in height, while it has a ground clearance of 160mm and seat height of 780mm. Sitting on a wheelbase of 1380mm, the recently launched R25 weighs a total of 166kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.3 liters.
