Dodge has resurrected one of its most famous names- Daytona which will be part of an option package for the Hemi powered 2013 Charger. The 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona debuts at the LA Auto Show and features elegant design features like spoilers, roof wrap, hood stripes and a unique interior. Four body colors are available for this model namely Silver, Blue, Black and White. Daytona scooted to the backseat of the dodge lineup in 2009 when the Charger was re-launched as a modern muscle sedan.
This Daytona package will be available for two trim levels: R/T and the performance oriented R/T road and track level. R/T trim package will cost $2,995 while performance oriented R/T road and track level will retail for $2500. The 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona is powered by a Hemi V8 engine which produces a power output of 370 hp. Coupled with a 5 speed automatic transmission system the car offers one a smooth and sport drive experience.
Buyers opting for the R/T road and track level will be happy to know that they will receive a blue Daytona engine cover, performance oriented chassis, high speed engine controller, zinc paddle shifters, revamped seating arrangement and a 3.06 rear axle ratio which will transform the car into a SRT8 model exuding Daytona charisma.
