2013 Ford Fusion Titanium to serve as pace car for NASCAR


The 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium sedan is what will be used as official pace car for NASCAR Ford Championship Weekend being held at Homestead, Fla from 16th to 18th November 2012. This coveted vehicle which will be the cynosure of all sports loving fans will be driven by Kid Rock celebrity pace car driver while one lucky winner participating in the Win a Fusion Pace Car competition will get to take home the prized vehicle.

All competitors need to do to enter the competition is to log on to through smartphone or computer or stop at the Sprint Experience mobile marketing displays located at strategic locations at NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

Being used as a pace car 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium will take to the track prior to its arrival at dealer showrooms this fall. Sprint is an important partner of Ford Motor Company both where business ventures and sport is concerned. The pace car will receive a special paint scheme similar to the Ford EcoBoost paint scheme and will be signed by every Ford Racing driver. The car in question possesses a 2.0 liter EcoBoost Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection engine offering 240 hp while being mated to a six speed transmission. It will possess remote start and 18 inch alloy wheels
