The new 2013 Royal Enfield Café Racer 535 was seen at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year, and more recently, at the Milan Motorcycle Show or EICMA in Milan. Royal Enfield will keep prices reasonable and competitive as the company will be giving the motorcycle a 535cc single cylinder UCE engine.
First studio shots of the 2013 Royal Enfield Café Racer 535 has emerged though power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. However if the upcoming sports bike is more powerful than the UCE500 engine, peak power can be expected in the 30 bhp category while peak torque will be at around 42 Nm. This will ensure that the Café Racer 535 will be the most powerful bike in the Royal Enfield lineup.
Once launched in India, Royal Enfield will be producing this model at their plant in Oragadam near Chennai. The plant is being readied as we speak and will be fitted with state of the art facilities to ensure minimum amount of waiting periods. Scheduled to go on sale in India by mid 2013, Café Racer 535 will be a single seater giving the vehicle a racy appeal while a longer flat seat will be able to accommodate two adults. Prices will be announced in due course.
