Organized in association with the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) and the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the series is a part of the Indian National Racing Championship 2013. 65 participants entered the novice category of Round 2, and the top 18 qualified, out of which the top 18 qualified for the race.
Yamaha R15 One Make Race Novice Category Race 1 saw Akash Dingare win. Lalrindikia came in 2nd, and P K Mithun Kumar 3rd. In Race 2, A Mohd. Tousif won. Muralidharan finished 2nd, and P K Mithun Kumar scurede 3rd place again. In Open class, 25 racers participated, and 19 qualified for the races. Yamaha R15 One Make Race Open Category Race 1 saw Vivek Pillai win. Ananth Raj secured 2nd place ihn bothy races. S Manthana Kumar finsihed 3rd.

In Race 2, Shyam Shankar won, and Ananth Raj finsihed 3rd. Daytona Racing Kits developed using valuable experience gained from MotoGP & World Superbike racing were mounted on the bikes. The kits are designed particularly for closed circuit racing. Race winners get a chance to participate in the Yamaha ASEAN Cup 2013 later this year. YZF-R15 tech takes inspiration from R1 (Deltabox frame/Fuel Injection/6 speed gearbox/styling/Liquid Cooled 4V engine).
