2014 BMW S 1000 R at EICMA with better safety and performance

bmw s1000r at eicma 2013Unveiled at EICMA (2013 Milan Motorcycle Show), the new BMW features 999cc four cylinder in line engine that delivers 118 kW peak power at 11,000 rpm and 112 Nm peak torque at 9,250 rpm. The superbike is designed in such a way to make it suitable for day to day use during weekdays while its sporty appeal kicks in across cross country roads on weekends. Safety features on board the new BMW S 1000R include automatic stability control with rain and road modes modified as per road and weather conditions.

Dynamic traction control with two riding modes – Dynamic and Dynamic pro are also offered as an option adding to its safety characteristics while Dynamic damping control options are also available. Race inspired features present on the new BMW S 1000R include an LC display with analogue rev counter, gear display and riding mode display besides a lap timer while its all aluminum fuel tank contributes to lower overall weight.
