Expected to make its public debut at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the new BMW X5 will be powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo N55 engine offering 300 hp and 300 lb/ft torque. Buyers will be able to customize their X5 with a choice of Luxury Line, xLine and M Sport packages to choose from besides ivory white and mocha interior design packages. Whatever the engine choice, the X5 will be mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
New standard equipment will include auto start/stop system, BMW’s iDrive4.2 Navigation System with Touchpad besides 10 years BMW Assist eCall service and 10 years BMW TeleService. The new X5 will be offered in a choice of 11 colors among which will be the new Sparkling Brown Metallic and Mineral White Metallic. Interiors which are elegant and spacious will be seen in high quality materials.
