The upcoming 2014 Hyosung GT250R was spotted at a dealer showroom recently where it was noted that air intake near headlamps are similar to those seen in its 650R counterpart. The only distinguishing feature on board the GT250R is its aluminum exhaust pipe as against a matte finished exhaust on the 650R. Hyosung GT250 R weighs a total of 188 kgs and can hit a top speed of 140 kmph.
2014 Hyosung GT250R facelift has a metallic white finish at its rear end unlike matt black seen at the rear of GT650R. GT250R is powered by a 249cc, 4 stroke, V-Twin DOHC oil cooled and fuel injected engine offering 29.2 PS power at 10,000 rpm and 22.7 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five speed gearbox and chain set, thereby carrying power to its rear wheel. Braking set up consists of 300mm dual discs and 230mm disc brakes at the front and rear respectively.
To compete with the likes of Honda CBR250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Suzuki Inazuma, bookings of the new facelift Hyosung GT250R have already commenced with pricing at INR 3.11 lakhs – ex showroom Mumbai. Via
