2014 india bike weekThis time round, India Bike Week promises to be bigger, better and even more exciting with many more biking enthusiasts congregating and more bikes going to this two day massive beach party. Festival planners Seventy Event Media Group will be conducting the event along with the premiere Travel and Lifestyle Channel – FOX Traveler and Harley Davidson.

Earlier this year, IBW was held on February 2nd and 3rd, 2013, wherein there were 3 concert stages, 28 live bands and DJs along with Cigar & Whisky Lounge, Race Tracks, 16 Cage Fights, Stunt Areas, Bike Polo and Vintage and Custom Bike Displays. There was also a Bikers Flea Market and contests and competitions galore. Still a while away, more details of the India Bike Week 2014 can be found online. Hopefully, the 2nd edition will ensure a festival that touches a personal chord with travellers, musicians, and young bikers’, making the festival approachable for a larger audience, especially those who don’t yet ride a Harley. This year, the festival will have a camping facility, and tickets go on sale from October.

Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG said “India Bike Week in 2013 broke all records for a Festival in its first year. It wasn’t just the only festival by bikers for bikers; it was also one hell of a party. We’re really excited about the second edition of India Bike Week and have already started planning for it. The essential elements of the festival will remain the same but there are definitely bigger and better things to look forward to in 2014, including the all new IBW SPEED ARENA – almost a separate Festival in its own right. India Bike Week will always be the place to be for hard core bikers, fans of the two wheeler way of living, travellers and India’s many music and Festival Fans. It was a great party and will be a great party. It’ll be a one hell of a ride!”

Keertan Adyanthaya, MD- FOX International Channels said, “Being the Woodstock of biking festivals, India Bike Week brings alive various elements close to a biker’s heart – rock concerts, showcase of the most amazing motorcycles from across the world including vintage bikes, custom bike build off, stunt arena, etc. The 2013 IBW inspired a new generation of bikers and we are twice as thrilled about 2014 as the execution will be in a grander scale.”
