Ford EcoSport aces J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Initial Quality Study
Nigel Harris, president and managing director, and Raj Sarkar, vice president, Marketing were among a host of Ford India personnel who attended the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Automotive Awards.
With over 150,000 customers globally, Ford EcoSport secured top spot. Ford EcoSport registered least problems against competition.The urban SUV is credited with 30 awards, and the latest silverware further highlights Ford’s commitment to quality and customer feedback. Nigel Harris says Ford values the trust shown by customers. With new products scheduled, Ford Figo Aspire will be the auto manufacturer’s next launch in India. Ford’ manufacturing facility in Sanand will help keep pace with domestic and export demand.
2014 India Initial Quality Study is based on evaluations from 8,429 vehicle owners who purchased a new vehicle between November 2013 and July 2014. 73 vehicle models from 17 makes were reviewed, and the study was fielded between May-September 2014 across 30 Indian cities.
Now in its 18th year, 2014 India Initial Quality Study measures problems owners experience with a new vehicle during first 2-6 months, and reviews examines 200+ problem symptoms across eight vehicle categories.
