2014 JK Tyre Racing Championship heads to BIC for final round

JK Racing India Series (FB02, formerly known as Formul BMW ), JK Formula LGB F4 and Volkswagen Polo R Cup finals will see drivers race to the finish. JK Tyres Superbikes Cup champion ( for bikes over 1,000cc engine capacity) will be announced.

December 13-14 finals: Concluding round of the JK Tyre Racing Championship

JK Racing India Series races being run on international spec cars powered by 1.2-litre BMW engines managed by Euro International will see defending champion, Vishnu Parasad and Akhil Rabindra fighting tooth and nail. Vishnu was recognised as Motorsports Person of the Year by FMSCI in 2013. The 2013 JK Racing India Series, leads the championship with 78 points after three rounds. Akhil trails Vishnu by 20 points. the next 3 way fight is on between Nayan Chatterjee (38 points), Anant Shanmugam (37 points) and Kishanraj Mahadik (35 points) for 3rd place. JK Tyres protegee, Armaan Ebrahim will take to the circuit as a guest driver beginning from the back of the grid.

Karminder Pal Singh of Delhi currently leads 2014 Volkswagen Polo R Cup championship with 251 points. Bonnie Thomas and Lee Keshav Gupta complete the top rung at 229 and 215 points respectively.

JK Formula LGB F4 class brings in single-seater racing excitement to India as Daljith TS of Dark Don racing leads with 78 points. Vishnu Prasad of Meco Racing car and Raghul Rangaswamy also of Meco Racing are in 2nd and 3rd place with 52 and 43 points, respectively. In team championship, Dark Don Racing stands at 127 point, Meco Racing at 112 points, Rayo Racing at 76 points, and Team Avalanche at 6 points.

Kulwant Singh (Monty), Gurvinder Singh and Bhupinder Singh make up the top 3 for JK Superbikes Cup. Chennai-based Dilip Rogger will make a guest appearance. 24 riders will get on track. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, JK Tyre and Industries wished luck to all competitors.
