The next generation 2014 Lexus IS sport sedan will be available in three variants, namely the IS250, IS350 and the IS300h, which will be integrated with Lexus Hybrid Drive Technology, the first IS to do so in Lexus family. The new 2014 Lexus boasts of a spindle grille with an elevated waistline coupled with a set of dual beam headlights.
L shaped DRL’s, which usually are combined with the headlight fixture on most Lexus vehicles, will be for the first time affixed separately from main units. Sleek sculpting and design have made this Lexus model one of the best so far. Interiors are spacious and have thinner sport seats integrated within the LFA inspired cockpit area. Metal film 3-D effect ornamentation, 60/40 folding rear seats, moving drivers meter and electrostatic controls for cabin temperature are some of the other interior features of this vehicle.
IS250 and IS350 will be powered by 2.5 liter and 3.5 liter V-6 engines capable of producing 200 hp and 306 hp of power respectively. The Lexus Hybrid driver technology will not be available for the US market just yet. Apart from this, subscription free weather and traffic updates will be provided to occupants via iBiquitys HD Radio service. The 2014 Lexus IS will be available in dealerships this coming summer.
