Official images of new 2014 Mercedes Benz E Class Sedan and Estate Facelift have been released to give buyers a taste of what can be expected in the soon to be launch models. Where Mercedes Benz E Class is concerned, it is more than just a facelift as there are a host of additional changes seen in its design and engine lineup. Hood, front and lower grills are given a new style along with the rear, tail lamps and bumper.
Engine lineup will include a V6 3.5 liter with 333 hp, a turbocharged V8 6 liter engine with 435 hp and a V8 5.5 liter twin turbo offering 537 hp. If estimates are accurate, Mercedes Benz will also be introducing an entry level model with a Renault 4 cylinder, 1.6 liter engine offering 156 hp.
Though just restricted to a single image, the 2014 model of E Class is seen with a stylish new three instrument gauge layout and center console clock of the CLS while additional trims and accents are seen on the knobs of the infotainment and air-conditioning system. Details are sketchy but then the wait is not long before more details appear along with prices of both the facelifted models.
