Five variants of the Range Rover Sport are available in UK, while only two variants will make their way into India, reports Indian Autos Blog. These will include the 3 liter V6 diesel offering 292 PS power and 600 Nm torque and a 5 liter V8 supercharged petrol offering 510 PS power and 625 Nm torque. Both engines will be mated to an 8 speed ZF transmission via 4 WD system.
Both these, India bound variants will come in as CBUs. It will carry all the features eatures and well defined interiors while fuel efficiency will be reduced by 7% thanks to a start/stop system. Coming into the country via the CBU route, the Range Rover Sport is being projected as a family car with three rows of comfortable seating. Interiors will be equipped with Meridian audio system, 8” touchscreen infotainment interface and Land Rover Terrain Response 2 traction system.
