2015 Audi Q3
Audi Q3 facelift features new Singleframe front grille, new alloy design, and updated engines which are powerful and efficient.

Audi first revealed the Q3 back in 2011. After a good three years, this is the first time the Q3 receives a facelift treatment. Being a midlife facelift, there are no major changes. You can notice the new Singleframe grille (which Audi says is the defining element of the new Q3), and redesigned headlight treatment with Xenon Plus and LED DRLs. Apart from this, Audi also offers LED headlights, and revised LED tail-lights with sequential illumination for turn indicator, as optional extras.

On the engine front, 2015 Q3 will be offered in the same range of petrol and diesel engine options as earlier. In all, three diesel TDI and three petrol TSI are on offer. Audi claims that all these engines are refined to deliver more power, and fuel efficiency. Power output for the engines ranges from 120 PS to 220 PS. All engines are turbocharged, and complying EURO 6 emission norms.

2015 Audi RS Q3
Top of the line Audi Q3 facelift, the RS variant gets more powerful engine, revised transmission, improved performance, and an aggressive body kit.

Audi RS Q3 has also been updated. Featuring the same 2.5l five cylinder turbocharged TSI engine, but delivering more power and torque. Compared to the earlier engine, this one now delivers 340 PS and 450 Nm torque, 30 PS and 30 Nm more than the older RS Q3. Apart from this, Audi has also improved the transmission, for faster gear shifts. These updates results in a sprint time of 4.8 seconds for 0-100 kmph, compared to earlier’s 5.5 seconds.

India launch of the new Q3 is expected to take place next year.
