2015 Audi TT India spec variant 45 TFSI quattro detailed

Bulk quantity of 2015 Audi TT 45 TFSI Quattro S Tronic model has recently been imported into India from Hungary plant, indicating imminent launch.

Last September, new Audi TTS was spied testing on Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Having their closest rival, Mercedes Benz India, launch four new products this month, it seems Audi India has a plan to retaliate. The four rings’ much enthusiastic sports coupe, 2015 Audi TT, is getting ready for launch, probably by the end of this month.

The third generation Audi TT you see here, is powered by a 2.0l TFSI engine generating 230 hp power and 370 Nm torque. This means, new TT delivers 19 hp and 20 Nm more power and torque respectively as compared to old TT. The new engine continues with six speed S tronic automatic gearbox, delivering power to all four wheels via Quattro technology. 0-100 kmph time is improved by 0.3 seconds to 5.3, and top speed is now 245 kmph. This is the only variant of TT that will be on offer in India.

2015 Audi TT India spec variant gets all black dashboard with generous amount of sliver inserts. The sporty steering wheel looks chunky, and also has paddle shifters along with steering mounted controls. The five circular AC vents are of the same circular design, which also features on their new A3 in India. But unique to new TT, is the display screen on the centre, which reveals the temperature, and fan speed.

2015 Audi TT is also lighter and more agile, making the mini coupe fun to drive. Other features on offer include brown leather sporty seats, sporty aluminium pedals, LED headlights and tail lights, full LED instrument cluster, which also acts as navigation screen, parking camera display, car settings, music and much more. You can control it via the steering mounted controls, or circular knob with touchpad which is just besides the gear stick.

More details will be revealed at launch. Price of new TT is expected to be in the range of Rs 55-60 lakhs.
