What Bajaj Auto Limited discontinued in 2006 has once again brought back. Yes, we are talking about their entry level motorcycle – CT 100 motorcycle. Bajaj CT 100 has been relaunched in Indian market. The CT 100 now gets new alloy wheels and graphics on body. Deliveries have already commenced
Priced at INR 35,801, 2015 Bajaj CT 100 motorcycle is on display at company showrooms. Compared to the original CT 100, this one receives no changes in engine specs, though new features are added.
The re-launched Bajaj 2015 CT 100 is powered by a single cylinder, 4 stroke 99.27cc engine offering 8.2 hp peak power and 8.05 Nm peak torque while being mated to a 4 speed gearbox. Telescopic forks in front and SNS suspension at the rear along with drum brakes are continued on board the re-launched version. Refreshed looks include new alloy wheels and body graphics while suspension has been modified for better rider comforts. Noticeable changes on the 2015 Bajaj CT 100 also includes five spoke alloy wheels, a new exhaust pipe and rear view mirrors, which are borrowed from the Platina.
Primarily aimed at Tier II and Tier III markets, 2015 Bajaj CT 100 will be positioned below the Platina in company’s product portfolio. Re-launched at a time when Bajaj Auto is dealing with a falling market share, 2015 Bajaj CT 100 will be followed by more launches that will include a new range of Pulsars such as 150 NS, 200 SS, 400 SS, 400 CS and 200 AS.
Rajiv Bajaj has already confirmed that the new range of Pulsar motorcycles will be launched from this month. The first on the list to be launched in India is expected to be the 200 SS, which has already arrived at showrooms for employee training purposes.
